Never tell your hairstylist
of 25 years
that you have cancer
while she has sharp scissors in her hand,
posed over your hair.
Or a 'trim' will turn into
the shortest hair you've had in years!
What can I say,
she's easily distracted.
At least if I lose it all from chemo,
I'm halfway there already!
