I've been chastised for not adding that while we don't 'pass the torch'
in our family,

we DO pass the basket...

all that remains of the bassinet 

in which every child in our family has slept 

since Gramps was born.

(70+ years ago).

Our little superhero will be the only one, 

so far,

to pass on the family name.

No pressure though!
