I’ve been trying to be deliberate about
‘staying in the moment” –
which I’m discovering -
doesn’t lend itself to reflectively looking back
or leaping forward.
You’d think I would have thought of it before embarking on
my quest for intentionality,
but, no.
Life has happened since Greece.
Fall has come and gone,
The holidays are upon us –
There was a kickoff this weekend in Chicago for Thanksgiving;
there’s a planned trip to Santa Fe for Christmas.
Life will continue to happen in the spaces in between major cultural events.
I haven’t forgotten about wanting to document my birthday trip to Greece –
before it settles in to a fog of oblivion.
It’s simmering quietly on the back burner.
I’ll move it to the forefront when I can.
