The small Vori Ethnological Museum on Crete
which celebrates daily life on the Greek islands was absolutely perfect.
Such a treasure -
and a respite from the crowds encountered at all the other museums we visited.
Even the small town it's located in was charming -
a rural municipality rather than an urban setting -
far more to my taste.
The textiles alone were drool worthy.
I could have stayed and been perfectly content.
