Funny how it 'just' takes a foot of snow -
on a Sunday -
to render the world mute.
By the time I got home from church,
it was apparent everyone had hunkered down
for the duration...
there was no traffic on the street,
no sound of people shoveling,
nothing.
Silence
enough to hear the snow
fall.
It was lovely.
Dealing with the aftermath
will not be...
