cause and effect

I am not a high maintenance gal...

I'm not usually persnickety about things like expiration dates on food.
I live on the edge and eat raw cookie dough and rare (OK, raw) meat!
I know I've been traveling and it's been too damn hot this summer to really care about fixing food.

All that aside, even I know that white, frothy, bubbling, culture medium on top of your OJ is NOT a good thing!


So when I discovered it this past weekend, it was quickly poured down the sink - and then chopped up with the disposal since it came out in several chunks!! EEEEEWWWW!
Actually, it was probably a cure for some disease but someone else will have to make that medical advancement!...
excuse me while I throw up in my mouth a little.

That discovery led to a complete cleaning of said refrigerator...

which morphed into cleaning the 'dump drawer' in the kitchen - come on, you know you have one too!...

and then, because I was on a roll and having such a nifty time,

I FINALLY painted my tiny front entry hall

and got the side of a vintage playpen hung - which I've been meaning to do for several months (OK, years!).

What a productive day!

don't bother calling me for a while... I'll be taking a nap!
