1 year ago today...

I shaved my head

as part of a fundraiser for St Baldrick's,

a National organization that's second

only to the US government

in the amount of money it provides

for Pediatric Cancer research.

A noble cause, no doubt.

Truth be told,

I did it because I have colored my hair

every few weeks since I was 16,

had no idea what my 'natural' color was

and I was too much of a coward to grow my hair out

after all those years

and put up with funky roots.

I wanted it done in one fell swoop!

It was the most fun,

best thing I've done in years!!

And I love my wash and go

no color added hair now!



I'm contemplating all kinds of other drastic changes

I might like as well...

Who knows what the NEXT year may bring?
