She was crying as she relayed the details of the autopsy... 

a veteran Medical Examiner of 3 decades.

The same details made me throw up.

Suffice it to say, 

we both prayed the baby was dead
from strangulation 

before the rest of the abuse 

happened.

When work gives you harsh, 

the only antidote I know 

is to look for 

softness 

and 

beauty.
