It's the little things... observations from a day.

Dear Einstein's
You seriously need to reconsider the name of your bagel...
"Spinach Florentine" just won't cut it.

Florentine means "served or prepared with spinach" - so 'Spinach Florentine' is totally redundant.
How 'bout "Asiago Florentine"?

I love it, but having to order it drives me crazy!

I noticed it for the first time today.

My mother was in an assisted living facility due to Alzheimer's dementia for 8 yrs.
She was confused and disoriented but mobile and relatively independent.
There were 4 speed bumps to go over before you got to her building.
She was moved 3 mos ago, due to a series of mini strokes, to the skilled nursing home facility in the same complex.

Despite this sign, there are NO speed bumps to manage before getting to the turnoff for her new building.

I guess they figure, by the time you get to skilled nursing, there are enough obstacles in your life without adding one more.

They'd be right.
