Really America, that's the problem?
Don't get me wrong.I think what's been alleged is a reprehensible act...
but do we honestly not get that if we train people to so distance themselves from the humanity of another person that they can kill them - train them, in fact, to only see them as 'other' and a threat - we not only make acts like this possible, but probable - as surely as night follows the day.
The hypocrisy of the 'outrage' is maddening; but maybe that's just me.
